Mohammed Jashim Uddin, is currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Economics in the Department of Economics & Banking under the Faculty Social Sciences in International Islamic University Chittagong. Before joining at IIUC, he served as a Lecturer of Economics in Sylhet Metropolitan University under the Faculty of Business Administration. He has completed his BSS and MSS in Economics from Chittagong University/CU. Currently he is pursuing his 2nd MSS in Economics from Thammasat University, Bangkok, Thailand.
He joined as a Lecturer of Economics at IIUC on September 12, 2013 and now serving as an Assistant Professor of Economics from July 19, 2018 to till date. He has good potential in research. Mr. Jashim has published several research articles in various prestigious journals. He has already authored around 16 research papers that have been published from national and international journals. Mr. Jashim Uddin is mainly focusing on Macroeconomics, Islamic Economics, Organic economics and development economics and he has participated in many national and international conferences and training sessions in home and abroad. Besides, he has performed various administrative and sports or athletics duties.
